Project: day 130: get crafty/ the meaning of Easter/ a simple craft and dessert in one to teach the story of Easter through colored jelly beans!
Difficulty rating (1=easiest, 5= way too hard!): 1
• Would I do it again? yes. It is so easy to get sidetracked from the real meaning and story of why we celebrate Easter, but doing this craft/activity helps keep things in focus!
• What I would do differently: do it every year as an Easter family tradition, as well as have printable versions of the poem to hand out to relatives and friends :)
• Items used: jelly beans, ice cream cones, twizzlers or licorice, as well as the cute idea and poem behind the meaning of each colors go to: http://beinglds.blogspot.com/2011/03/telling-story-of-easter-with-jelly.html and poem here: http://www.dltk-holidays.com/easter/jellybean.htm
Until ipinterest tomorrow!
